Her dark bedroom was a welcome relief from the lights and the noise of her life.
Aria didn’t like the parties and the vanity and the facade, she’d rather just skip it all and lay in her solitude. The darkness suited her. She rolled her eyes as she imagined her sister, face thick with makeup, lapping it up, the consummate attention seeker.
It’s true that twins are opposites in personality, but everyone always assumes they’re identical. No, not identical, just Asian. Half Asian, to be exact, their mother left them when they were five. Lucky for dad that we were his only children throughout his marriages.
Not that Aria would wish any luck on him. He abused every wife he ever had, as well as cheating and manipulating. And through all that, he had them, Aria and Azumi, to use as his puppets.
He is the CFO of a law firm. Any chance to show off his wealth, his privelege, or suck up to his business partner through us he took. He hosted parties, attended parties, and they had to be at every single one, dolled up and gorgeous, his two Japanese girls.
She hated the bright lights.
Another character sketch, this time of Aria. She is a rich daughter who doesn’t enjoy the vanity of her life, though not the cheeriest character.
