She felt like she had stepped straight from Australia to China. Flooded fields stretched out from her on either side, pyramid-hats working the fields.

One waved at her. She waved back, reluctantly.

She couldn’t keep standing here, she had to keep moving. She could hear him coming again, and set off again at top speed, turning the landscape into another blur…
