Writing Projects

365 Day Archive

Here at Gaia, I have been invited (as a broad invitation) to take part in a 365 Day challenge; every day, I write something – big or small – based on that day’s theme. The link above isn’t where the challenge was set, but nonetheless, I’m taking it up.

I will try to write every day. I will post every week I complete, and see how well I can do. Consistent writing is a powerful tool; I just need to master it.

If I miss a day, I will just update my week of writings that much later, but I’ll try not to miss a day if I can.

At the end of the mind-racking year ahead, I will count up how many days I’ve lost and see how well I did. I have no plans outside of that, though, for this challenge (as of yet).

I decided to bin this project. I’m more likely to take on the Ivan Project than this againI’ll try to keep up with posting my progress here on that, now that I bring it up…

The Ivan Project

This is an idea I got after reading a piece of NaNo Mail at the end of Camp NaNoWriMo, August 2012.

Write one flash fiction a day, between 100 and 200 words, for 100 days in a row. This is my challenge.

I started this on 1 September, and I will post a link to all of my subsequent flash fictions here from that date.

IVAN PROJECT FAILED with 32 days to go. 😦

Yesterday slipped my mind. I’m doing WriYe (Writing Year) next year, too, so I don’t plan on picking up Take 2 then. But WriYe will be like my own Take 2 in itself.

So perhaps it’s not all bad.

WriYe

I have already been writing steadily from January 2013. I’ll keep the same progress metre here as I’m using at the website, as well posting up each finished verification period.
